Just now starting real running after months out with hamstring injury. Being very careful so only doing 2-3 miles really easy jogging and taking days off when hamstring gets sore. Bike has been used sparingly as seated activities tend to flare up hamstring. Problem is I've packed on weight while off and can't seem to shake it. Been doing some calisthenics and weights here and there but still a good 10-15 pounds off where I'd like to be before training again. Curious how others keep the weight off during injury or start shedding pounds when running/cross training is limited?
