18:30 5k on an xc course can mean low to sub 5, IDC bout HR cuz I doubt it's accurate off the watch you probably use
Go out in 2:28-2:30 and push that third lap and find out

what can you run for the 800m or the 400m? Its really hard to tell what someone can run the mile when they only provide you their ez run heart rate and a 5k PR
Your 5K time would suggest a 5:20-5:30 mile.
my freshmen year i ran 4:58 after a 17:22 pr and a 17:50 performance at state
it was a time trial but was pretty competitive
I ran a 4:56 and couldn’t get faster than 18:10 the next outdoor season. You can break if you have some speed
18:30 could put you close if you have good 400/800 times. Only one way to find out though
