So I ran a 4:35 mile twice this season. The second time was not a good race for me tactically and wasn't that tired at the end. Last year I ran 17:34 in the 5k my first ever xc season and got injured for the rest of the year. I started training late summer again and ran 16:45 for cross. I stayed healthy and was able to run 2:00 for my first 800 and 4:35 for the mile. Would it be possible to run close or at 4:20 for the mile outdoors?
