So i am a collegiate distance runner and i ran a 3:54 1500 last weekend with a 2:00 last 800 and a 56 second last lap. At the end of this race i had little fatigue with some lactic acid from the close. If i were to run a well paced time trial, roughly how much faster could i have ran? I ran a 4:13 mile (2:02 last 800) indoor and an 8:38 3k this past season, both of which were paced slow with a close at the end.
Just wanted to see what yall thought about this.
