I don't know this podcaster. Is he a legitimate source? And, if he is, why is he giving these training camps a heads up that they are about to be raided and why is he leaking that Zane is under survelliance?
This is common knowledge in Iten y'day and today. Informing the wider running community today won't make a difference at this stage. Doing a service I would have thought.
Good to know this while the iron is still hot after the public revelation of his ban. Kenyan's not accepting the happy H'sh1t that Robertson has been peddling to compliant western media and getting tough on cheats is arguably the important news here.

That was my first impression 100%.
Below is a transcript of what the OP said on his podcast in relation to Zane:
What Zane then did the fruitcake that he is, he then went on a podcast with one of his buddies in New Zealand and openly admitted to the whole world that he'd smuggled E P O from Ethiopia into Kenya, which obviously is a crime, especially given the current climate in Kenya where they're trying to crack down on doping and, foreigners bringing in drugs into the country.
So, no journalist picked up on this, but obviously, I picked up on it with a friend of mine who I work with and we discussed it. And I've got some contacts out in Kenya obviously, cause I go out there all the time. I've got a business partner out there, I know quite a few members of the, um, the Kenyan director of criminal investigation as well.
So I got in contact with somebody there. I'm not gonna reveal the name at the moment, we'll come back to that in a minute. And, uh, basically had a discussion with him and that triggered Um, an investigation that is called Operation Blood Orange Trails. Now what's happened is the Kenyan Director of Criminal investigation have linked up with the anti doping agency of Kenya. And since the early hours of Sunday, uh, Zane Robertson's been under surveillance, and the two basically, well, the dci, the director of Criminal Investigation, and ADAK, the Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya. They've linked up and they're now planning to swoop in on a number of training camps and individual dopers in Iten, the Home of Champions, also known as Home of Dope Fiends.
So,obviously the, the conversation that I had with a person, a senior officer in the DCI in Eldoret has triggered this, but it's kind of important to explain, you know, why I've gone down this route because, we've known for obviously many years that Kenya has a doping problem, and it's largely been sort of, um, felt that this was kind of being done on a crude basis. That, you know, the, the busts were down to husbands forcing wives to dope, shady deals in the back streets, behind pharmacies and dodgy doctors trying to earn a little bit of coin and some officials trying to get tea money and things like this.
But Zane's admission to smuggling EPO Into Kenya now opens up, you know, the whole claims that Kenyan athletics have been saying.
It's foreign coaches and managers and runners bringing the, the gear into Kenya and then dishing it out to, in the camps and then into, you know, individuals. Whereas most people just thought it was Kenyan people doing it now it needs investigating. And that's the reason why I basically got in contact with the DCI to get something done about this because I just knew everybody would sit on it and nothing would happen.
It's great that they're in on it now, and as we, as I'm speaking now, I know that action's being taken on this and, uh, a number of people are gonna get pulled in and hopefully this can start to unravel the, the seediness as that's going around in Iten at the moment, and start to begin to clear things up.
I'm gonna have a lot more in the Thursday podcast, also the Blue Line, the journalist there, Elise Beacom, whom I coach, and she used to work for the United Nations as a journalist and she's working for the the Blue Line. Um, she's gonna have the full story as well. I think it comes out on Thursday. I'm gonna be giving her all the details, but also tune into this Stazzasstable podcast, the Stable master speaks on Thursday, and I'll give you the ins and out and the full skinny. It's really juicy. Stay tuned.

He has twice now publicly admitted moving EPO across that international border. Second podcast he stated 'with my stuff'. To remove himself from this pickle Robertson will now really reveal where and from whom he got the EPO and the exact nature of systematic or otherwise EPO misuse in Kenya including by Europeans.
He is a coach/online coach and coaches all from elite's in Kenya,US, UK and Ireland (as well as those new to running and all standards in between). He spends much of his time in Iten every year and this has been the case over the last few decades.
Of US interest: he is the coach of Utah's Riley Cook who in December's California marathon qualified for the US marathon trials at age 41. Also coached Ireland's Aoife Cooke to the Tokyo Olympic marathon. One of the young guys he is coaching in Iten has recently ran 2:12 @ altitude and will debut in a European marathon this year.

Yep, This is a wrap. We've nailed the kingpin... The mastermind. If not for this bad, bad white foreigner, no Kenyans would dope. Finally the source of all PED evils has been rooted out. Time for a presser and parade. Plaques and hams all around.
The Donald said he was going to be arrested, too. May have done so just to be in the news. And his poll results seemed to benefit. Is something like that going on here? Robertson somehow needs the notoriety so he puts this out there?

This is fantastic news if it leads to a network of dopers and their evil enabling coaches, managers and others banned or imprisoned. Hopefully in Ethiopia too.

This news is going nowhere without Zane’s cooperation and Zane would do well to get a lawyer to assist him if it does go to court.

I think the Kenyan Legal system is a hybrid system based on the former British system in place during colonial times and their own addition.
What I do know is that for a foreigner being incarcerated in Kenya would not be a pleasant experience and so it would behoove Zane to lawyer up as soon as possible to get the charges dismissed. Last year when I was in ITEN there was a foreigner incarcerated in the Tambach jail on charges of threatening and insulting a Kenyan so it is quite disturbing to consider that people may be charged for offenses which they did not in fact commit with intention.
Another option for Zane would be to leave the country at this time and sort out his problems from a distance. I wish him the best.

If he is charged with bringing EPO into Kenya from Ethiopia wouldn't the logical thing for him to do is say he was lying when he said he brought it from Ethiopia but actually got it in Kenya? Unless there is evidence proving he brought it into Kenya from outside I don't see how they'd be able to build case.
