Gilstrap looks to be the man. possibly in whatever he chooses.
I agree. Also we shouldn’t count out Max Haynia. He won NXR but didn’t perform well at NXN.
Juniors - Toss up between many including Logan Schlaeffer (faster indoor 1600 than all seniors!), Shane Murphy, Ethan Green, and lone NXN individual qualifier from FM Nolan McGinn.
McGinn has a solid training partner in Otis, and also another fast senior Martinez recently transferred in.
Freshmen - Tuohy or Claudel (both from North Rockland and are the same in terms of talent level)
Sophomores - Gavin Catherwood (scored for Monroe Woodbury in XC), was top soph at NXR, Regan Macpherson (top soph for St Anthony’s), or Owen Blaisdell (big jumper, ran a 4:21 in the 1600)

Shout out schlaeffer, he wasn't that awesome in cross and wins states in the mile (also a coach told me he saw him win states in max flys??)

I'm pretty sure I still have the NYS freshman 3200 record (9:20 back in 2002). Does Tuohy or Claudel have a shot to take that down? Would love to see it get broken...
