I'm wondering if your username is some kind of anagram with characters from another language that really spells out "Sean Brosnan".
There are plenty of kids on his own team that were around Lex and Leo as freshmen that he coached, who also did not develop into anything anywhere comparable to the Youngs and Sahlmans. He didn't MAKE those guys into mega talents. The Young and Sahlman brothers are mega talents he was fortunate to coach and he did a good job. Having those kids on the team did as much to raise the level of the other kids on the team as Brosnan did. Can you admit he hit the lottery with the most talented set of brothers in high school history? He did well with them, but he didn't MAKE them.
…and we will see in a few hours where Staggs, Herold, Dawson, Mireles, Wilbur, Ratkovitch, Martinez and Salcido… rank at the moment.
How many sub4 equivalent guys will he have by end of the day?

Well this was fun to come back to. You thought.
Yeah, not quite the earth shattering results you would expect from one of the best coaches around. A few on his team PR'd, most ran about what they've run in the past and a few ran poorly. Sounds like every other mediocre college program out there.
In my opinion, this really solidifies how exceptional the Young brothers are. Brosnan can't get D1 recruits that he is coaching full time, who are several years older, to run as fast as high school kids he is coaching part time, remotely. Those kids are phenomenal!
Ronan McMahon-Staggs records UCLA’s fastest 1500m in 18 years - 3:41.07, which ranks No. 4 on UCLA’s all-time list. #GoBruinspic.twitter.com/6Q2vtWq0Hg
Salazar is a rapist. RAPE. He digitally penetrated someone and that is rape. Not sexual assault, not an accident, actual, legal rape.
No running accolades negate that.
I did not say I was discounting that. I don't really consider Salazar's sexual actions when counting his accolades as a coach because... they're not coaching accolades.
As should be the case, those actions have resulted in him losing his career. We can appreciate the fact he deserves never to coach again while also acknowledging the things he achieved as a coach.
NP is a gold mine of talent. Brosnan is a very good coach. These facts are not mutually exclusive. Lots of very talented runners get bad coaching and don’t reach their potential. Just like many not so talented runners receive very good coaching and do reach their potential.
As others have said, UCLA is a Nike school. Brosnan has Nike connections. Do you really think UCLA would of hired him if he had Adidas connections? He’s there to get the Empires directives. He needs at least a few of years college success before a pro group is given to him. However, that just might be what they’re grooming him for.
Oh and after this spring season I doubt he has anything to do with NP. I don’t doubt he felt like he needed to stay involved with the three super seniors training. Probably because they helped get him the college job. However, he will soon forget about NP altogether and focus 100% on the big boys. Especially since this will be his first recruiting class.

I'm not far from UCLA and the conditions were horrible in Westwood this past weekend. No one cares about times in March.
The Nike connection in my opinion is no accident. Brosnan is somehow part of the Nike empire. If he's at Mt SAC this year pay attention to him and who Brosnan is with at the meet. Last year at Mt Sac I saw him sitting with some very well know Nike executives in the stands and walk out with them. At the time being a Newbury Park coach it didn't seem normal, but now it makes more sense. I agree with some others that Brosnan will build UCLA to a distance power only to be groomed for something at Nike in his future.
Brosnan is at Nike Campus again today. I’m reporting this from Phoenix AZ. I did not see with my own eyes. I was told by a Nike Employee Brosnan was at Nike Headquarters walking with two unknown people fully decked out in Nike.
This intrigues me. This is the second time in a few weeks he has been seen there. Can anyone confirm he’s not at a practice with UCLA today ? Can anybody confirm Brosnan is back at Nike headquarters? I trust my friend, I just want to see if anyone else is seeing this.

According to a UCLA team member the distance athletes have Wednesday’s as their mandatory NCAA day.
It seems Brosnan was not at UCLA today and he was seen at the Nike headquarters again. Anyone with some actual information on what he is doing at Nike? Is it legal for Brosnan to be on the Nike headquarters? It’s making me mad he gets away with this. He needs to give answers and explain what’s going on.

What are you trying to say he's "getting away with"? There's nothing inherently illegal about being at the Nike HQ, talking to Nike employees.
It is definitely illegal to be on the Nike Campus. My understanding is that they will soon be putting razor wire around the whole thing and a sharpshooter in the tower at the track to keep the anyone from leaving.
