Are you kidding me! - you ran 5:25 at 62? That's crazy - what's the age graded score on that?
5:25 at face value is sizzling fast for an average young guy (how many men in this country - on a percentage basis - could break 5:30? - maybe 1/10 of 1 percent? And you run 5:25 at age 62? That's simply amazing!).
I ran my PR of 5:05 way back in my mid-30s on a road course where the 2nd half of the race was slightly down hill. Lol. Now at the ripe old age of 62, I can't break 8 mins - even after a good night's sleep & the wind at my back. Lol.
What's your secret? What's your height & weight? Do you have any injuries or arthritis to deal with like I do? Are you on a special diet? Any special supplements? Do you cross-train? Any weight training?
With that incredible time - you could start you're own thread titled something like this: How to defeat aging & run fast in your 60s. 🙌

M - 65, 4:26 5:27 on the track last year. From a 5K result from the other week says 5:22 is equivalent, but not there yet at all. But did split a 5:42 2nd mile in that race, with a net downhill of 60 feet.
