We are at a point where a high schooler running 3:40 is only good? But not great.

Because everyone knows that the 1500 is a different distance than the mile. He wasn't pointing out anything useful, insightful, or interesting. He was just being obnoxious and pedantic so that he could gratuitously sh1t on an excellent performance.
