Girls update. Los Altos got a big bump from Lowell. Both the girls and boys races had big speed rating PBs at Lowell, which mostly were not duplicated at Woodbridge for those who ran both. But I don't make individual adjustments, maybe there is an explanation like travel, so I use the speed ratings as published. I am sure there are some top 10 teams I am missing. Any suggestions? Also, Ventura's score is including their transfer. And Buchanan, yes I know, I know. But going strictly by the numbers, they should much better later this season. Finally, yes I am also surprised Santiago's Woodbridge performance did not create a higher ranking, but examining the data it is because they had a comparatively weak track season. I made the ranking system during track season, so it made sense to weight track season as much as XC because track was the most recent data. Now a good argument could be made that XC Speed ratings from this year should be weighted more. But that is something I will consider later.
Buchanan 42
JSerra 78.2
Ventura 175.1
Los Altos 205
Campolindo 246.1
Cathedral Catholic 279.1
Oaks Christian 332.5
Santiago 358.1
Dana Hills 381
Trabuco Hills 415.1
Newbury Park 451.5
La Canada 540.3
Murrieta Valley 583.6
Not sure how they look versus other teams, but Clovis North finished just 8 points back of Los Altos at Lowell.
