Why does LRC mention super spikes in the write up of Tuohy CRUSHING the collegiate record by 6 seconds but then not in the glowing write up of Nuguse's 2 second win over what was also a pre-superspike record? Why bring spikes up at all in either write up.

Do you notice the bias?
Because Gault wrote the article about Nuguse and the Brojos wrote the Tuohy article. The Brojos bring up the spikes for literally every runner not just Tuohy, its annoying as hell. We get it.

Yes It is annoying. Spikes have been out for a while now, brojos. Breaking a record is breaking a record.
What’s ridiculous is to mention Matt Stonier and Yared Nuguse and talent in the same sentence.
Sorry everyone, I know I already replied to this comment almost a day ago, but it just irks me. While I acknowledge after the last couple weeks that chances are Stonier doesn’t have Nuguse’s talent, he ran 3:32.5 last year at age 20…Nuguse’s PR at that age was 3:38.32, and technically is still 3:33 at age 23. So it’s not ridiculous to think that both will ultimately have identical PRs of say 3:29, but it is ridiculous to make your statement with such…hubris.
Why is it that a PEDs comment about Johnson is allowed to be on the thread but a burrito about NORRIS the true sus, is deleted? Makes her even more sus
