How far, in what temps, and what will you wear?
Wimping out and staying inside.
Stay warm!

for as terrible as the humid and disgusting summers are here in Northern Virginia, the winters are quite tame. Still no snow or ice at all this winter. It will be 16 tomorrow morning but that is so big deal, just heavier mittens, hat, and maybe a little vaseline around the nose. By Monday the highs will be in the 50s.
I would never recommend moving here, however, because the summers are next level nasty.
Just did 7 miles in -25 windchill. Big deal. I’ve ran in -50+ many times as well. Always easier to dress warmer than to deal with ~90’s+ and humidity.
I will. It's a bit chilly on the face and toes, but fully doable. Probably 45 mins or so.
Just ran 5 in zero degrees but 24 mpw wind. The wind was what made the run almost impossible. I did an out and back and when I turned around I felt like I was running up hill. Yea
5 miles this morning at 1 degree Fahrenheit. 9 miles earlier in the week at -3.
Need to pick up the pace a bit tomorrow so I'm gonna hit the treadmill.
Dressed in leggings, rain pants, base layer, tech long sleeve, wind jacket. Wool hat and buff.
Bumping this for updates
Was -1 with windchill in NoVa this morning. I’ll be outside this afternoon when it’s back to 30. Luckily Sunday here is back into the 40-50s
73 and sunny 🌞 you poor suckers! Hahahaha! Shorts 🩳 all the way! Hahahhaaa! You miserable tightwads can report back how many times you fall on the 🧊 ice. Hahahahaa. Sucks to be poor 🖕🖕.
did 8 in -2 this morning. biggest issue actually was the tip of my….let’s just say I’d recommend another layer there
I live in MN and regularly run in sub zero weather. Here is what you need: HEAD winter hat (the type with pompom on top) and a balaclava to cover the rest of your neck. You can start your run covering your face but not needed once your HR is up. TOP 2 base layers, another long sleeve, and an athletic jacket. BOTTOM wind breaking winter briefs, gym shorts, long tights. +/- leg warmers. HANDS gloves used for biking in the cold (i.e. not the soft fabric gloves you use for 10-40F). FEET a thicker pair of socks but really your feet won't get cold. MOST IMPORTANT: be 100% sure about your fitness and that you will make it back running, don't overestimate your ability
Working an outdoor ice hockey tournament in the frigid north later today.
Will be wearing a lot of layers.
Yes, in about a half hour. Current temp is a comfortable 24 degrees Fahrenheit.
Ohio here. Doing 8 today in the 20s and 16 tomorrow in the 40s. A little windy so tights and light jacket today but probably just a merino top and maybe shorts to orrow. Depends on wind chill.
I ran up Mt Washington today. Totally doable. Winds 100+ MPH and wind chills -120°
Suck it up buttercup!
Hahahaahahahahaha!! Oh you suck! Hahahahhaa!! Why you live in that $hithole? Fat wife? Shi&load of kids? Hahaahhaaaha🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕
