I have not ran since i got a pr last Friday due to being sick. Im going on a long hard bike trip this weekend so i cant run but it will help my cardio a little. first track practice is on monday. so would it benefit me more to let the niggles rest a bit more an not run until Monday? that will be 8 days no running, but 2 days of series biking. or should run today/tomorrow and risk worsening my niggles (shin splints)
