Wilma Nielsen ran 2:38 in the 1000 yesterday. She will easily run 4:24 for the mile. Also, the Bradley DMR is worth watching as her sister has run 2:06 and they have a 2:07 runner and another runner who is their best distance runner.

i think touhy is the favorite
She's definitely one to watch. Based on her 1500m times idk if I would expect a 4:24, she looks to be more of an 800m runner. But, hopefully she will run the mile pretty soon and we can see!
That 1000 and the 2:03 800 are impressive, but her mile pr is 4:47, so an NCAA record 4:24 may still be a reach.
A Rutgers woman popped a 4:31 so don't be surprised at something quite a bit faster from Nielsen. And her sister is just as good.
