Hello, anyone have any possibilities of what this might be? On the outside part of my lower right leg, I am having this pain that only happens when I first put weight on it and for about 20-30 steps of walking. After that, the pain dies down significantly granted, it's still there to a more mild extent. It's a very sharp pain that persists when first putting pressure on the leg and then feels more like an ache when walking after a bit. The reason I think it has something to do with the peroneal tendon is because it's not just localized like a stress fracture. The ironic thing about this issue is the fact that running on it actually masks the pain the most but after the run, it feels worse. That seems to be the opposite of the symptoms. Most people claim that the run is where it feels at it's worst. Taking the first steps after being stationary for a little bit is where it is at its worst for me. Thoughts? Thank you.
