I think you’re being a bit too sensitive; he may have been being tongue-in-cheek. I’m just glad to be alerted to some of the entries in this meet.
Sage Hurta-Klecker should be able to get the 1K AR (2:34.19) if she’s fit. Gorriaran should be able to better Whittaker’s HS record (2:39.41) in the same race.
With the caliber of the pros in the women’s mile, it seems likely this is a better chance for Tuohy to run a fast time than Camel City. Is Alicia Monson the favorite?—or someone who’s more of a miler by trade, like Norris or Schlactenhaufen? It’ll be interesting to see where Wayment’s at right now, too.
I'd like an indicator that Wayment's on course for a summer tour of Subnineistan.
Tuohy v. Vissa, at last!
I can't name the favourite, but this might be Whittni Morgan's day. Could her best event be the 1500?
Monson & McCabe’s respective mile bests (4:38.14 & 4:38.99) will be--as Solinsky remarked about Valby’s current 5000 PB--a thing of the past.
How long before Diljeet Elite goes bust because her athletes want babies? At least Erica Jarvis already had hers.
she ran that over a year and a half ago and never came close since. She’s lucky she’s even entered in this race. One hit wonder
Norris ran 4:20 this past January at Millrose Wanamaker mile coming in second to Elle St Pierre in a loaded field. I would say she has a shot. She will be running Millrose again also.

Is Mccabe confirmed for this too? She wasn't on the press release.
A post in the BU 5K thread mentioned that McCabe was running the mile at Dr Sander. Maybe she wasn't deemed marquee enough to warrant a mention in the press release. We'll find out soon enough.
Well you're right, Tuohy is not everyone's favorite, no one is, but we can all agree that most of the people in our sport support her and followed her journey... it is Tuohy who has a fan page with 11 thousand followers and she herself has almost 100k followers. It's not hard to see why Tuohy is a lot of people's favorite, she somewhat grew up with the sport, I started following the sport after seeing her video on YouTube, everyone seem to love her except for the fans of older runners, other phenoms and fans of the runners she beat through the years and in the past nationals.
The On Athletics Club hit the track for a workout at CU Boulder on Sunday afternoon. 2021 Olympian and 2022 U.S. 10,000m runner-up Alicia Monson ran 1600; 3...
Mccabe did great 4:31.57, big PR for her and #2 so far this season behind Tuohy. Lauren Gregory ran 4:31.88 so just edged her out.
If McCabe sharpens up for the mile ahead of Albuquerque, she'll land on the podium, maybe even win it sans Tuohy, but the mile final is an hour before the 3, so likely no double. Both Morgan and McCabe delivered what I thought each was capable of at this point. Did anyone interview Morgan post-race? I couldn't find anything online.

I couldn't find any interviews with Morgan, just Mccabe and Tuohy. Yeah, it's too bad the mile / 3k double is so tough to do. It seems like this year some of the best mile contenders will race the 3k instead
I would say probably Norris, she has run 3:59. But, she just switched teams to OAC, so depends where she is at in adjusting to new training, Boulder etc.
