I am not GIVEN anything. I TOOK all three points. I am right on all of them.
Nah, you were wrong on those two but I am old enough and smart to realize when a mind can't be changed regardless of any argument.
But I do appreciate you not tantruming and telling me (as a previous man/child did) that I have one foot in the grave and I will die a miserable life alone in a dingy nursing home).
That wasn't very nice of him to say to a feeble dying old man posting alone with his 20 minutes of allocated time on the nursing home computer.
WWII was closer to 1984 than 1984 is to today. Politics changes to adapt to different times.
You're no different to the people in the 1980s arguing we should do politics like they did in the 1940s. Focus on what you want from politicians in the second quarter of the 21st century!
Let's be honest - the reason why "minorities" (which you mean to be only one specific group in particular) are disproportionately killed by police is because they disproportionately resist arrest violently. One group commits 40% of all violent crime, including over 60% of murders, but is just over 10% of the population. That's why they're "disproportionately incarcerated" and disproportionately killed by police.
Blacks get special privileges that no other group gets. Democrats like you pretend every group is inherently equal, and you refuse to acknowledge the role of genetics in IQ. This is why affirmative action exists: the average black IQ is 85 so of course they're less successful, especially when compared to whites whose average IQ is 100 and Asians whose average IQ is 106.
I've said this before and I'll say it again: Asian and/or white males (like me) are, by far, the most discriminated group against in society. Every other group fills at least one quota so they don't need to be qualified to get a job or get into a top college.
Hypothetically, if someone else took a DNA test and was 1/1024 (under 0.1%) black and 1/1024 native American, would you say they could identify as both for college admissions or for getting a job application fast-tracked?
I think you'd say no.

About 25% is white straight male. The reason you feel oppressed is because you are always used to seeing white straight males on TV and in congress. Anytime you are in a room that's more than 25% white straight male, you are overrepresented.
If you've ever read anything I've ever posted, you would know that I go by the letter of the law, and definitions of words are paramount. I didn't like George Bush as President, but I never called him a Fascist...because he wasn't one...and Republicans were NOT that at that time.
Republicans today (the Trumpers mainly...which are becoming fewer and fewer fortunately) have fully embraced the 14 qualities of Fascism.
1. Powerful and Continuing Nationalism: Um, America First, Trump flags, apparel, songs about Trump even.
2. Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights: Trump's embracing of murderous dictators while his followers praised that and even wore shirts that said things like "I'd rather be a Russian than a Democrat."
3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause: Trump targeted Mexicans, Muslims, The Press, and just about everyone else.
4. Supremacy of the Military: BOTH parties are on this bandwagon, but TRUMP wanted to hold military parades, and he constantly said how important having a powerful military was to him. Over the top obsession.
5. Rampant Sexism: Um...duh. Republicans.
6. Controlled Mass Media: Trump did his best to disparage the Press, and if he had had his way, nothing would have been said in the press without his say so. He has NO respect for a Free Press.
7. Obsession with National Security: Again, Trump and Trumpers.
8. Religion and Government are Intertwined: We saw this with Trump in spades. He's not even a religious person. Mr. "Two Corinthians" wouldn't know a Bible verse from a hole in the wall, and yet he was the focal point of Christian Nationalism with his followers saying he was chosen by God and other such nonsense. We also got some religious nutbars on the Supreme Court which set back the progress of women 50 years. Roe v. Wade was put into action by a CONSERVATIVE Supreme Court which tells you have far NUTS Republicans have become.
9. Corporate Power is Protected: BOTH parties do this (which is really why everyone should invest in the stock market as much as they possibly can), but Republicans take this to a whole other level with tax breaks for them while leaving the average citizen on the sidelines of prosperity.
10. Labor Power is Suppressed: Republicans have long been against Unions and protections for workers. Corporations are paramount.
11. Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts: Republicans demonize Universities and talk constantly about "indoctrination" on college campuses. Trump loves the "poorly educated." He said so, and people applauded. Fools.
12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment: Republicans say they are the party of law and order...well, as long as those being punished are not powerful and connected Republicans.
13. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption: Trump's Administration was the most corrupt and criminal in our nation's history.
14. Fraudulent Elections: Yeah, um, who is on a recording trying to get Georgia officials to "find" 11,780 votes? Which party submitted fake slates of electors? Which party participated in an insurrection to try to overturn a fair election?
7. Countries need a border. Canada’s immigration system is merit based.
11. I was forced to play an instrument in my youth and hated it. I’d much rather have run more or coded more. Similarly, as someone who went to a top (10) college 10 years ago, the rampant wokeness was present even then. I was in the business school and most of friends were business (well, technically Econ) majors or engineers which tended to be apolitical, but classes in arts and letters were insanely woke. People would complain about gentrification although it made campus much safer, and the rampant woke race / gender ideologies were present.
You should really be able to kill a post-partum fetus up to six months after they are born. Just like in biblical times.
Well, no, that would be murder.
Why is that. Why is it murder if you kill a premature 34-week-old fetus 1-week post-partum but not a 38-week-old fetus in utero? The 38-week-old is older than the 34-week-old. I mean a human really isn't an emotional being until 3 months post-partum. Many cultures practiced infanticide well into the 20th century, so why should we be any different?

If this were true there wouldn't be all these videos/audio of black men being killed while not resisting arrest.
Its silly how folks like you love to cherry pick to support your incredibly narrow world view.
I would say that this flagpole clown is the worst of lets run. And that's no small achievement. He is probably battling a mental disease. No joke. I'm not kidding or tolling. His response to my post will make it even more evident.
Nope! No mental disease for me. Not my fault that you don't know what a child is. That's a YOU problem.
He questioned your post, not you. Rather than debate the merits of your post and his response to your post you just went the intellectually lazy route and just called him a name. Doesn't matter how valid your points are. When you start name calling, you lose whatever credibility you may have had. And it further supports what he said about your post in the first place.
I don’t understand the Trump obsession. Most of us hate the guy and are tired of hearing about him but you can’t seem to let him go. You couldn’t type more than 3 sentences before bringing him up in a thread that has nothing to do with him.
