Wow. 8th grader going to palatine went 4:46 and a 7th grader went 4:53. The future of this hs xc team is bright. This team has some young talent scoring on varsity
St Anthony’s (ny) results at the va showcase
this team made nxn. Although they lose 4 seniors, Next year they return 3 scorers in addition to:
Wigutow (9:49 in the 3200)
Kennedy (10:05 in the 3200)
That makes it 5 good scorers already. So they will have enough talent for this team to go back to nxn since this region isn’t strong.
They also have Melloy who ended the season early (injury or something?) but ran a 17:00 5k. They also have some young guys that can step up
Mason OH results
They return 3 of their top 5 from last cc season, in addition to the younger Xu who ran a 4:38 1600. I’m sure they will find a fifth that can step up. They got nice depth
Saratoga boys team returns 4 of their top 7 next year + Blaisdell (4:32 1600), and Brandriss (4:36 1600, might even be his first year of running ever. No idea if he is doing xc or not)

McCallie
North Rockland has a very good 9/10th grade class. We could see this team at NXN as soon as in 2024.
Millikan (Jason Parra’s school) - 8 guys under 5 for 1600. All will be back next year, and 5 will be back for the 2024-2025 school year
McCallie TN will be very good next year if they close the 4-5 gap.

That was just half of the team. They have at least 16 guys under 5 and Jason practically did a solo run there. He's at least a sub 4:10 guy with competition. He looked very strong on his opener. Too relaxed. Defiantly expect for big things from them next year.
Cool breeze results
solid performances from CBA and lots of step ups from St Anthony’s
The fight for the Southlake Carroll top 7 spots next year will be very competitive.
And this team will be very good.
Notice that there are no seniors in the 1600 or the 3200.
