We have closed this thread to new posts. Commenting on two of the NCAA's top runners training together for the 1st time thanks to an Instagram post is acceptable discourse, but like most threads by page 5, it's gone totally off topic and devolved into two people arguing back and forth.
Coincidentally, there is a story up on Savannah Shaw's Instagram right now with a video of the team running a trail -- including Shaw, Starliper, Chmiel, and you can barely see Tuohy at one point beside Chmiel. In the video, it is clearly Shaw running closest to the camera.
If you look closely in the video, you can see the tattoo on Shaw's lower left back that I posted about earlier in this thread. This further confirms that the person in the picture in the initial post in this thread that is believed to be Tyynismaa is definitely not Savannah Shaw.
I thought this "including Shaw, Starliper" was the most significant thing as both were hurt dor most of XC season.
No doubt. That is what is most significant about it. I'm super glad to see Starliper and Shaw healthy. I just made the initial comments and brought attention to the video in order to support the fact that Tyynismaa is also currently training with the team.

Hardly. That's a public directory...for anyone to simply find a student or faculty member. Virtually every university has a searchable online directory like this. If it's so "creepy" (lolol), then aren't the universities to blame for being "creepy"? Blame the universities for creating the online directory!

There are a small number of people here who were too interested in 15 year old Tuohy and are now obsessed with NC State even though they barely had heard of the school before Tuohy went there. Most people are lifelong fans of a particular school, not one that they latched onto dur to a 17 year old girl committing there.

That's something (hypothetically) that you know privately. If something is "public", it means that anyone can find it easily, and it's available to them. It sounds like the only way to know where she lives is if you have access to private information, such as the person she might be renting an apartment/house from.

The online directory doesn't even reveal anything that is "private" or could put the person in any "danger" (such as an address). It only provides an email address. As I said before, this is just the same as the athlete providing their Instagram account, where you can contact them.
