The person trying to make an issue of it is a NCSt hater who pretends to be a fan. I guess the idea of NCSt winning three XC championships in a row is upsetting.

Most NC State fans didn't even know who she was 2 weeks ago. Some of them have admitted to not knowing who Drew Hunter or Mary Decker are.

Bingo!
What’s your point?
“Most” isn’t true. Most fans of the sport, and I’ll put “most” knowledgeable NC State fans in that group, know who the top collegiate XC runners are. Tyynisnaa is a top collegiate XC runner.
That said, there are some NC State fans who didn’t know who she is. There are also some NC State fans that don’t know who Drew Hunter or Mary Decker are. How is that different from the fans of any other school? Did you know who Tyynisnaa was before her name blew up here? More than likely you didn’t because you don’t seem to be a knowledgeable sort.
Haters gonna hate…
I didn't know who she was. Betting you didn't either which sort of makes the point. Some claimed that everyone knew her father was in the military. Hear how silly that sounds? What does Bosley's dad do? How about Young? They are way better known than her.
No, it doesn’t make the point. I did know who she was so that doesn’t make the point.
You're not very smart, are you?
And no, I didn’t know that her dad was in the military. Knowing that her dad was in the military doesn’t change my opinion of her. I’m willing to bet that 99.99% of the fans haven’t changed their opinion of her. She’s a huge talent and it’s great she’ll be in a Wolfpack uniform. She also has a great back story with her Tourette’s and OCD L and how she has worked has had to work so hard.
Being in the military is a job and for those that serve, a duty. I respect the men & women that are in the military. I’m in a military family. I’m proud of my family that served. Her father’s military service was made known through an article about her and her family. There’s probably an article somewhere about Young’s & Bosley’s families out there somewhere also. Knock yourself out and look for them since this all seems to be a concern of yours.
Again, you’re grasping at straws and looking for something that isn’t there. You’ll need to try harder.
Her family connection to NC State is irrelevant. She could have picked NC State out of high school BUT SHE DIDN'T.
If NC State was 30th in the nation she wouldn't be transferring. She waited until NC State kicked her butt in cross country then she transferred just to be on the winning team.
She is betraying Alabama and her teammates. It shows a lack of character. At least she'll fit right in with the classless NC State team who called a flotrack employee a perv for covering women's cross country.
She didn’t want to go to Florida and always be playing second fiddle. However, she probably thinks she can learn-the-ropes and eventually be top-dog at NC State. So when she starts beating Katie, who hates to lose, waddaya think is going to happen in that scenario ?
😂
Oh FFS!! You guys are exhausting and insufferable.
Haters gonna hate…
Good. Good. Let the hate flow through you. LOL. Hopefully you can learn to cope with NCSt being extremely good for the foreseeable future.
Alabama might be in for a slight downturn. Chelangat has used up her eligibility. And their coach and two of their remaining top five left.
