Warning: lots of training data included
41yo male, started running 5-6 years ago. Got into running through triathlon. This is the first dedicated running block I've ever done. 1:20 HM several times over the last several years off of 25-35 mpw.
Had a semi-custom JD-based training plan made for me and I just finished it but I'm really unsure of what pace this sets me up for. I think it's obvious that I should go sub-1:20, but how much faster?
All weeks were between 47-55 miles. I'm just not sure what pace to start at and what my realistic goal should be. Thoughts? Thanks so much.
