Hey guys, I sustained 1 broken rib from a fall 2 weeks ago. My Dr said I can easy back into running but it will likely be painful but won’t make the fracture worse or slow recovery. I haven’t ran in 2 weeks (18 miles) and my marathon is in 4 weeks. My goal would be to finish in under 5hrs -this is my first marathon. I’m planning to easy back into training in 2 days. Would I be trained enough to run a 16 next week then taper? Or might I not be trained enough to run the marathon? Thanks!
