OU fired that man in November. How dysfunctional is that? 8 weeks until season starts and it looks like they don’t have any sprint coaches. What are those kids gonna do?
Yea it seems crazy. I think they only have 2 or 3 coaches on staff right now. Something been off about that program in the last four years
I saw the announcement about hiring a new coach, but nothing has been posted to apply. I know that's not how they find the top candidates. However I would think they have to post the job or jobs. They will need a cross country coach.
I think they may plan on keeping the interim Head Coach. This is his interview process to see if they like him. This is how the pervious head coach was selected. Or they already have someone in mind
What does that mean for all of the other position groups though? Still no coaches listed for distance, sprints, or pole vault. Does an interim coach get any say in those hires? Did Davis actually coach them during this XC season?
