Keep your ear to the ground for two openings at an up and coming school in Texas. Two staff members on their way out. By choice or by force from their head coach is unclear. But very obvious split coming due to irreconcilable differences

I know exactly where you’re speaking of. They’ve only been there a little over a year and can’t seem to get on the same page.
There are no recommendations for “levels” of fitness required for improving mortality benefits. It appears that general low level activity is just as beneficial as vigorous activities. Certain markers such as VO2 max aren’t given targets to reach by health organisations.
In fact this study shows that vigorous activity didn’t have any mortality benefits of moderate intensity activity was beyond 5 hours per week. So efforts to improve “fitness” don’t necessarily translate to improved health and mortality it seems. This seems to link into what I said previously about centenarians. I’ve yet to see one interviewed who bragged about weekly mileage, VO2 max levels, dead lift PR’s or resting heart rate.
