Except that most smart kids have smart parents who make a nice salary and woukd rather pay under $100K for their smart kit to get a Flotoda degree rather than a $320K Princeton degree. And many Florida parents are not liberal so their kids would not be very happy at Princeton. I doubt your parents are wealthy or you wouldn't have made this statement.
You realize private schools like Princeton don’t cost the price they list online, right? All give academic and merit scholarships that drop the cost similar to public schools like Florida. Great students can go their for dirt cheap if their family income is low.
and you don’t think your conservative counterparts don’t want kids going to ivy league schools? If anything all the insecure blowhard parents want to brag their kids got into the prestigious schools and lie their paying a boatload to impress their other insecure friends like yourself.
But please, keep going though life thinking republicans or Trump cares about working class Americans (hint: they don’t)
Our sport is unique in that the athletes are participating in Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons.
Each season has a different window. She has a lot of time.
It’s also not a window of time where she has decide about where she wants to transfer, it’s just about entering the portal itself. She could enter, explore options, and never actually leave Florida.
I haven't heard of someone doing that for a runner but there's no reason why a wealthy business owner couldn't set up a NIL with her on the condition she transfer to a particular school.
If Valby does transfer, she may want to wait til June, as FL has a good chance to win both indoor and outdoor track champs. Even if she plateaued where she is now, she could be top3 in indoor 3k/5k and outdoor 10k/5k. That's 14 or so team points.
Academically with covid, she may be close to her ba, so she could possibly be a grad transfer.
Or, she could be a freshman at byu for the next 10 years.
