Is my weekly mileage to low? I am going to go based off of June 22' which is the end of track to now during Indoor. I average 22.84 miles a week. I run xc, indoor, and outdoor track. I have PRs of a 16:59 3 mile, 17:34 5k, 4:48 mile from last outdoor season and a 2:08 800m from last outdoor season as well. During my season in outdoor I improved tremendously going from 5:30 to 4:48 from sophomore to junior year and dropping 12 seconds in my 800. Even with this improvement I peaked mid season in the mile. For XC Senior year I improved my 5k by 1:21 and my 3 mile by 1:13. I have not posted any prs in indoor for those events yet since I am running 600m and 1000m in indoor. I wonder even though I continue to improve is my weekly mileage to low? My coaches have never pushed high mileage but my competitors average 40-55 miles throughout this time maybe even more. My highest mielage week was maybe 35-40 just once and highest weekly average was 35 in august and lowest weekly average was 18. Any advice?
