Furman recently announced the hiring of a new assistant coach, Matt Lange. He ran for Furman and was previously a coach at Iowa State. This pairs him nicely with Logan "The Sledgehammer" Roberts as an elite pair of assistant coaches. I'm curious to see if this hiring will really take Furman to the next level with recruiting in their region after losing a lot to UNC, Duke, UVA, etc. Is this a good hire?
In 2022, Furman's men fell behind Wake Forest, as well. But...their AD must not care about spending tens of thousands; for a glorious Southern Conference XC Championship !
I’m sure Coach Hayes and his men will be losing sleep at this after narrowly missing the podium and signing one of the best recruiting classes in the country.
I think Logan Roberts should officially change his name to Sledgehammer Roberts. A power name like that would help when competing for recruits with power five schools.
Additionally, if he ever gets fired, he could seamlessly make a transition to baseball. Baseball's a sport that really promotes strong names (e.g. Mordecai "Three Finger" Brown, Moonlight Graham, Dizzy Dean, Chipper Jones, Coco Crisp, Dusty Baker, etc.)
Not sure about this username. Now I cannot stress this enough, I have never coached at Furman or coached Matt Lange. Kind of weird that you would post a picture of the Gary's on here? feel like you should be reported. Is it cause you think she is hot?
