I keep hearing HS kids say they want to develop and design running shoes for a career after college. The skeptical part of me thinks there are aren’t really that many jobs out there for this.
What say ye LR? How many engineers and shoe designers are working on running shoes and how many new jobs every year does that equate to?
There are shoe designers in Portland for Adidas and Nike for example.
Some are creating the new looks of the shoes, others work on the textiles and then there are people who adapt everything for different sizes.
How about working on chemical engineering for elite athletes? You'll get them to run even faster
