Sounds like a right year for them to do it.
Lex/Leo/Seymour/Sahlman would make a formidable relay team. All are seniors.

No. They don't even speak to each other.
That was a temporary problem that has now been resolved.
Their goals for last year were to break the national records in the DMR and the 4xmile but they were unsuccessful.
They haven't announced their plans for track yet because Lex and Leo's focus is still on cross country. But it would not be a surprise if they go after at least one of those two records this spring.
These kinds of lingering animosities without sean's presence could really put a damper on the outdoor season.
You guys know that one of American Fork’s legs was a 4:25, right?
Newbury Park has at least 6 guys that can run faster (or 7 if Hector is back)
Porter (one of their juniors) ran a 4:26 last spring
There have been plenty of American men in the 4x100 and 4x400 over the years that don't like each other but they still run relays together.
Regardless of personal feelings that the NP boys may have, I think that they can manage to run a relay race together.
I doubt it. I predict that they don't run for the team.
AF's 1600 pr's the year before hitting 16:41 were 4:04, 4:07, 4:09, and 4:34.
NP's 1600 pr's going into outdoor are 3:59, 3:59, 3:59, and 4:09.
It is hard to get 4 kids to time trial good miles on the same day. It would be sort of cool to see them go for the 4x8,4x1500,4x1 mile, and DMR to rewrite the record book. But I doubt it happens..
I think the most likely scenario is that Lex and Leo do what they did last year, which is to run a few relays and the 3200 at Arcadia, then leave the team and run on their own.
But yes, it's a possibility that Lex and Leo don't run at all for their team this spring.
Ritz did not improve on his 3200/2 Mile PR after training for his successful World XC campaign as a senior.
There have been very few high school boys from the United States that have run World XC. So there isn't enough data to draw accurate conclusions about how World XC may effect Leo and Lex.

So when they ran 16:29.31 in the 4xmile at the New Balance Indoor, what teams did that leave that were faster?
Allison Felix has the record? That's surprising.
