I did not see a thread for this indoor season so starting one. Mods feel free to merge if this already exists.
I'll start with the mile. Strong competition this year with new faces and top returnees.
Lindsey Butler - last year's 800m indoor champ. But, she also split 4:29 in the DMR. She's been injured. Will she return to the 800m and compete against Willis or go for the mile? She is the only eligible athlete I can find with a recorded mile split or time under 4:30. Someone correct me on this if not accurate.
Galvydyte- Impressive 3rd in the 800m outdoors with 2:01, but just ran her first indoor mile at BU in 4:32. She is fast from 400m (56") to mile and ran impressive 74th at xc. Will she do the mile and/or dmr 800m at ncaa's? I wonder if she will continue to move up in distance as well. She is one to watch imo.
Tyynismaa - Split 4:31 in dmr previously. Possible 3k / dmr or mile at ncaas.
Roe - PB is 4:33, but she also split 4:31 in a DMR (I think)
Whittaker - my guess she will do 800m, maybe dmr at ncaas.
Asekol - Just ran 4:32, new PB
Barnett - 4:33 PB
Gregory - Last indoor season. What are her best chances for individual title? It might be the mile. 4:32 pb
Howell - 4:33 pb, solid xc season.
Tuohy - I don't think she will run the mile or DMR at NCAA's, but will probably run the mile in season. her 4:06 1500m converts to 4:25 mile.
Without Tuohy in the mile mix at ncaa championships, if I had to guess I would say Galvydyte for the win at NCAAs, or Butler if she is healthy.
