Would this training plan be effective? I wanted to try something new during winter base training. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Tuesday 12/13-5x3 min @ Tempo w/ 1 min steady
Wednesday 12/14-Longer Run (Long and steady)
Thursday 12/15-Easy run + speed and strides
Friday 12/16-2 min on, 3 min steady fartlek run (x8)
Saturday 12/17-Longer Run (Long and steady)
Sunday 12/18-Easy run + speed and strides
Monday 12/19-Day off / xtrain
Tuesday 12/20-3200M Striding the straights
Wednesday 12/21- Longest run
