Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

She is way over hyped. She's a mother, so what? You know how many fathers are pro athletes and don't give me that "it's not the same" garbage. Being a dad is every bit as hard as being a mom, moreso since we have to provide as the breadwinner.
She vocally supported the deliberate and sometimes torturous slaughter of innocent human beings in utero because it “empowers” women. Great career or not, I was very disappointed to hear her say that. It strikes me that continuing a difficult pregnancy could be heroic, but deliberately killing an innocent human being is not.

Is it a contest? I’ve been married a lot of years and we’ve never viewed it as a “me vs you” type of thing. It sounds like you’re in a crappy relationship.
There are plenty of women that are mothers and breadwinners.

Link to the source that Felix says that she supports “the deliberate and sometimes torturous slaughter of innocent human beings in utero because it “empowers” women.”

Allyson Felix, the most decorated woman in track and field history, on Sunday called the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling ending the constitutional right to an abortion "shocking" and a "step back" for women.
I’m willing to hear you out but you’ll have to make a cogent argument about why she does not deserve the award. Simply screaming “Ugh, woke!” will not suffice.
She got really annoying at the end of her career, not taking interviews and such. But she is the goat and deserves the award.
Why would you care about some off season made up award?
Any award an athlete receives away from the field of play is completely contrived BS just invented to promote some tv show or whatever. They are all meaningless.

I think the point is that it's hard to return to sports after giving birth. Regardless of how difficult being a dad is - fatherhood generally doesn't squish your organs, give you high blood pressure/diabetes, or require major surgery.

I’m still waiting for that link.
You said that Felix said that she supports the deliberate and sometimes torturous slaughter of innocent human beings in utero because it empowers women. In the article that you linked to, nothing of the sort was stated. What Felix said in the article that you linked to is that the abortion rights rollback is in the US is shocking. To quote her…
“Any time rights are being taken away, that's shocking.” Again, link to the source that she said what you said she said.
