Agreed. I have both (Garmin and Nike's foot pod device) and the Nike watch is far superior. The Garmin is nice on roads, etc. with little tree coverage, but I know those distances... I bought it to measure my trail runs and it does a poor job at that. Nike has it's flaws as well, as it is less accurate on steep inclines and declines.
