Living rent free I see.
Anyway two runners broke Nico's record today and a third almost equaled it after four of the girl's ran sub 17. I guess that is the Runninglane effect.

I thought his brother had the best range in HS history going 1:48 and winning XC nationals in a tough competition year, but Aaron might take the cake. Might be watching the future of American 1,500m running with that family

I just laugh every time I see your username.
Imagine the only win of your high school cross country career being in the national championship lol. What a stud

Wow you are right. This might be the strangest fact in HS XC history

Depends on what you choose to spend your time doing.

Aaron, Leo, and Lex can probably all run in the low 8:30's in the 3200 this spring. The Arcadia 3200 is going to be wild!
Does anyone else think Aaron being injured earlier in the season could have actually helped him? I remember hearing about how he was coming back from injury earlier this year.
Is it possible that taking a little break gave him a little chance to reset, while the Young’s possibly overworked themselves?
I guess Lex and Leo also said they wanted to peak for world xc so that plays a role

A. Sahlman had a terrific race. No need to be hateful and belittle the Youngs.

Why are you posters surprised on Lil S’ performance. If you go back to NBP posts over the last 18 months you’ll find post that say he’ll be the best when it’s all said and done.
Remember he is the youngest, ran 1:48, 4:01 mile and 8:01 3k as a 16 year.
I’m not surprised by any of these results. Runners have good and bad days. Just look at Teare’s NCAA X-Country finish last year. “S” happens in races.

?????
everyone had him winning.
He is a better all-around runner than his brother and all three Youngs at his age. Of course he won.
Aaron Sahlman has been consistently 10 seconds or so behind the Young twins both last year and this year as well in XC. If anybody had him winning NXN then I'd have them pick my next Powerball numbers ASAP.
someone’s mad they can’t break 5 in the mile

Lex and Leo didn't have a problem with peaking. They just had an ineffective race strategy today.

Even Aaron Sahlman himself said that he was only aiming for top 21 and he didn't think he was going to win.
