It's definitely not this thread, but the Norah Jeruto (World Steeple Champ from KAZ in 8:53) situation is high suspect. She just finished 7th of 8 in the Asian Indoor Champs 3K in 9:29. That was 28 seconds off the win. There are no barriers obviously. Her 10K at the end of the 2022 season after withdrawing mysteriously from numerous DLs (with an easy chance to win the DL trophy) was a 34:03 clocking for someone who has run right at 30 minutes multiple times.

yeah there's a que of people who need to get popped though:
- Mo Katir, most of the past 2years - Kelvin Kiptum, Valencia Marathon - Amane Beriso, Valencia Marathon - Mary Moraa, Commonwealth 800 final

I mean the middle 2 we’ll see compete in the Spring. Katir has not fallen off the map one bit. Moraa ran some pedestrian indoor races, but doesn’t really look suited for indoor racing. The Jeruto case is somewhat like Kalkidan Gezaghene, but less obvious because Jama Aden wasn’t involved and Jeruto has kept competing unlike Gezaghene who took 2022 off it seems.

that just sounds like an injury interrupting training, hardly any reason to suspect cheating
