This was a who's who of former NCAA champs and almost no comments here. The fan base is really shrinking. I really enjoyed watching. What is the over under how many runners in the race semihaze was familiar with. I say 7.

Excwpt for Joe Klecker, every runner in the men's top 9 won at least 1 NCAA Championship which seems liek that wouldn't happen often. One could even argue Klecker would likely have at least 1 to his name had it not been for Covid

and this is another reason why pro running is suffering.
When people repeat dumb things like this I wonder when was the golden days of pro running? Like when was it never not suffering?
Pearls before swine. This was a fun meet with outstanding fields, Jesse Williams is doing great work to attract and reward our top and developing runners with events like this. This field was higher quality than what we'll probably see at XC Nationals in January. We would've been thrilled to see an event like this 10 or 20 years ago, when fans dreamed of our best pros running xc domestically. There's always going to be a glass-half-empty contingent around here, the co-founders draw them with their usual tone. Perspective-lacking people who invent problems they expect someone else to solve.
