Elise stearns did amazing no doubt, but she entered college as a freshman in fall of 2019. You can't look at eligibility years to figure out someone's age. She is probably older than Valby & Tuohy; she was a year ahead of them in HS.
Hilda (Chebet) Olemomoi was the top freshman finisher. She was a juco transfer and is listed as a sophomore on Alabama website. She competed Juco under Hilda Chebet. No idea how old she is.
Her times from Juco were not that fast and would not have predicted a top 6 finish; she has seen a massive improvement in XC also.
There are no age groups in college but for you Tuohy fans ahow keep trying to create them, Cook ran a faster 5k at 18 than Tuohy and she ran faster in XC at 19 than Tuohy.

The fact is the point. Ask the OP what the point is and he wasn't even correct. Ask Tuohy fans what the point is when they go on and on about Tuohy being faster than pro runners at younger ages.
That's her official age. She turns 19 in one week.
Could be. I know that is what it says, but international students are generally older and not starting US college at 17. Birthdays have been wrong before.
If she is 18 (or 19, 20) still a very impressive finish.

Cook's birthday (for example) is (I think) incorrect on world athletics... listed as Jan 1 2003 which would mean she turns 20 in a month but I think her birthday is may...
