just to clarify, the guy who got shoved into the fence was Huber (5th). The officials have not as yet done anything. The father of the guy who got shoved spoke to race officials, and according to him "I talked to the race official. Since it was for 4th and 5th place and out of the money, they weren’t all that interested. Not cool."

Unfortunate. Have a feeling they wouldn’t alter the results even if money was on the line. It’s a turkey trot not ncaas. Still mind blowing that #707 put his body on the line for effectively no reason whatsoever, given that they were racing for 4th

That's messed up but I gotta be honest here, the fact that this was over 4th place in a Turkey Trot is objectively kinda hilarious.
Chelimo doing this to get an Olympic medal is drama, but this is comedy so good you wouldn't change a single detail if you were trying to write a scene.

Times are still pretty quick, 31:45ish for 10k, probably somewhat competitive local runners that still have that dog in them

Even if provoked, be the bigger man, man.
It's just a turkey trot. It's not worth ruining your reputation, or risking a long term injury to yourself or someone else. Crush them at the Reindeer Race, New Year's Ball Run, Cupid's Lovin' Cup, or St. Pat's Run for Beer. Can't partake in any of these fine events if you're injured doing something ridiculous.
