Well he performed pretty damn well for someone not in peak form. And btw - heart is what will get you across the line before others if you do have the same fitness . He’ll get the fitness back
I’ll say this- the NAU guys at least made it a race. This whole sit and kick bs is annoying - the women’s race was a joke. Congrats to kt for winning but c mon. RACE!

Finishing kick is more important than ever in track distances. His best distance will probably be marathon anyway. Look at him. He is basically a stick. Maybe he will our 2:05 guy.
Young was injured and is still having to race a bunch of old 5th and 6th years. He'll have his time to shine.
Besides, I care more about his future pro career than what he does in college. Following college running is fun and all, but is there any relevant pro athlete out there whose college career people actually care about or even remember once they go pro? I guess Ches would be the exception for me, but nobody else.
