Helped the team make NXN/state and place well there
Matt Deyo - 2012 Fayetteville Manlius grad
ran only 1 race freshman year when he was last on the team. He ran like 22 minutes
skipped sophomore / junior year
went back to XC senior year (2011) and ran a 15:53 at NXN
5:12 and 3:06 are slow. A guy with "talent" should at least break 5 in his first season.
This guy hasn’t started running till sophomore year. Scored for the team that year than placed well at state. That team won state and went to NXN the year before
This guy
Started running during 2014 track
won XC state in 2016
haven’t seen anything on her previously
He was a pretty good pitcher as well though a nasty SOB.
Didn’t start running until 2022 track
Might be his first year
saw nothing from before this season
Kid hasn’t started running until 2021. This year he helped his team make NXN for the first time ever
Had a buddy not do any sports as a freshman/sophmore. His class was a really good XC class though - 4 were varsity as sophs. They were also his friends, so he trained for the summer and joined. He was number 1 and just missed all-state. Senior year he was all state.
He also joined the track team. He mainly did the 3200. Senior year, it was his only race and he was bored at meets. So he started doing hurdle drills. He actually hit the state qualifying time in the 300m hurdles.
Might be his first season of running
