I have Raynaud's Syndrome. That's poor circulation in hands and feet. Worse, my feet sweat so I'll get hot and then cold.
For running, when it's below freezing, I'll wrap duct tape around the toebox... Gaffers' tape, actually, since it doesn't leave a gummy residue like duct tape.
I've solved the cold hands problem with mittens and charcoal heating pads.
So far, okay, but my feet are cold indoors all the time in winter! It's 68 degrees inside and I'm dressed like it's 40. The best solution I've found so far is smartwool socks with hiking boots indoors.
Are those HeatHolder socks any good? Is there a better thermal sock than Smartwool? What's a good running sock that's not as thick as boot socks?
