Currently run in the Hoka Mach 4. I like it, I’ll get a Mach 5 soon.
But I want another shoe to add to the rotation for EASY/RECOVERY miles. I found both of the shoes mentioned in the title cheap online.
Opinions?

Go with the Shift (or Tempus) if you want something softer for slower runs. The Boston 11 is a good shoe, really versatile, but comps closer to the Suacony Ride or Nike Pegasus. It can feel a little stiff on slower runs (keep in mind B11 has both the energy rods and a carbon plate).
Thank you.
The shift feels stiff too
Novablast 2 is way better than either of these for easy/recovery miles (and everyday miles as well). and they're on sale right now at runningwarehouse and other places
and i would actively caution AGAINST the Boston 11 and the Shift 2 for easy/recovery - both are stiff, dead midsoles
