I have hipflexor tendonitis and am a sophomore in highschool. I have been doing a lot of pt to strengthen the muscles but it is not fully healed. I was wondering how my shoe choices would effect it and make it better or worse.
I really love nike because of the way they fit my and was wondering which model out of the pegasus 39, infinity run 3, and invincible 2 would be the best for me. I had the pegs but they hurt my forefoot because of the air pocket, I currently have the infinity runs and like them but they are a little dull and boring. I want to get the invincibles but am not sure if they will be stable enough or put more force on my hips. Are the infinities better for me even though they are boring? I want to prioritize health over shoes being fun.
What type of shoes are best for protecting the hips but also strengthening them. When I race I will have on spikes so I need the tendons and muscles to be strong enough.
