Minnehaha Freshman Emmett Morse 16:51 at Tri City United Seeing these Hopkins guys transfer out of the team must have been rough for them, but they have a solid program and coaching staff that may be able to go to the state meet in a couple of years. Lots of young talent remaining. They have a 7th grader Jacob Lovas that won the 7th grade race at the Minnetonka MS meet yesterday. Wasn’t / isn’t there coach Lovas in the Hopkins track coaching staff? Are they related?
Jefferson tops Mankato East and wins the whole meet. Mankato East beat Jefferson last time they raced (at St Olaf) but Jefferson’s 5th was a little far back that race.
Same with Rosemount. They only returned 2 guys from their varsity but their 2-7 all finished close together, with 2 freshmen and 2 sophomores in that group.
Stillwater is only losing 2 seniors after this season.
