I have a 10-yr-old Polar watch that is perfectly fine for my needs. Maybe the screen is a bit dim for my aging eyes. But I kind of want a new Garmin Forerunner 245 cause it's on sale, now that the 255 is going to take over. Should I get it? Or just stick with what I have, considering I'm not even training hard or for anything. Worth it for a brighter screen, quicker GPS pickup and knowing HR?
I'm not sure if it's just a vanity purchase or something like updating my phone when I finally did—I didn't know what I was missing.
