I now have to wear 1.5x reading glasses and can barely read my running watch with large black LCD numbers and a good backlight when standing still because I don't wear the glasses when working out. I certainly can't read it when on the move let alone moving at night. I can read screens like a smartphone or smart watch much easier and usually don't need glasses when using those.
Any recommendations for a watch that has large numbers, a split function with memory for like 20 splits and a smartwatch type screen that costs <$100? I don't need GPS or smart functions that work with my phone, etc. Just a good watch for running. Physical buttons might also be nice because I've read here that even using an Apple Watch 7 isn't ideal due to having to carefully double tap on the move. I've looked at a lot on Amazon in the $12-$100 price range and all have some drawback or other: bad battery, difficult to use for running, poor screen, etc. Maybe you know a good one I haven't run across yet.
Thanks for your ideas.
