Seth should be happy, that LRC thread brought him views. I really wish the guy would acknowledge one of our posters who sent him that Pfitzenger book. I would be interested in seeing an entire training cycle culminating in a big race. It's like Seth went to war with LRC and anyone who dared question him instead of having a sense of humor about himself.

Is he even running again, I seriously don't know as of late.

He can jog for 8 minutes on artificial turf without pain. It's not pulling in views.

Thank you! I also agree that the most recent thread was being kept civil with the exception of a few faa nazis and it was taken down. Hopefully this one can stay within the lanes of the terms of service and refrain from some of the personal attacks that were showing up on the other threads. Love him or hate him, SJD is a fascinating character to follow and I believe that civil discussion about his public videos most definitely has a place on LRC.

I think that's way he drives out to the mountains. As much as the letsrun critics say that's a bad move, it drives more views than him running on the turf at the track. The Seth formula is to create a little bit of controversy. Thus he should welcome this thread because any news is good news according to some famous political figures.

i think also the likely long-term eating disorder causing several stress fractures is the operational impediment to his inability to get to the next level. over the last 6 months he has really hit a bottom physically. it seems like the new baby was a major stressor too - as it would be for anyone. but without that base level nutrition and physical well-being he really fell off

Hopefully this doesn’t get deleted, but I think he drives to get away from his home or family. What other conclusion can you draw from someone who drives hours away to hop on a box in the complete dark? He also has a brand new Nordic track at home.

OK I’m back. As for the what interests you about SJD, I was a regular enough viewer back in the old house days and since then, he’s just fallen off sooo much. And it’s down to two things. Having a simple, boring daily life and also daily vlogging. The injury just made this worse (poor war weary Mach 5). But he is so damn stubborn that he can’t stop, won’t stop. In fact he doubles down it and threatens viewers that if memberships don’t increase, the only other option is to “shut’er down all together…” He talks of the DGR family but there is no interaction with the family unless they are praising him (see every single comment of the day ever). There’s not much interaction with his actual family because he feels the need to drive hours away to do stuff you can do at home (e.g. a plyo routine). All while the few remaining loyal viewers lap it up and beg for praise from their leader in the comments.

He is also strange, egotistical, paranoid and somewhat fascinating little egg man. And the threads are funny.

So keep the thread up so we can do some doorknob in’. I’m begging you! cmon now.

We need another poncho walk or egg eating while driving adventure to inject some spice into this thread. Watching you jog across some turf doesn't have that same je ne sais quoi. Are you still on sabbatical from making good content?

I have no opinion to share on Seth's latest video but I do want to say that I appreciate the willingness to allow debate. Long may it continue, long may these forums be a place to discuss all things running.

Another point about ALL the channels that do what he did, it seems like that core group (Kofuzi, BITR, others) have, and I don’t know if this is reflected in views but anyway, it feels like they have gone up a gear while little eggman has slammed it in reverse. BITR seem to be capable of getting collaborations with any and every major brand, have access to all the new drops and get invited to events overseas. The eggman hasn’t even done a box opening in weeks. BITR had a Ciele hat collab that quickly sold out. Eggman is still begging Nike to send him the latest Alphaflys. BITR have copped those ridiculously overpriced Satisfy x Norda shoes. Et tu, eggman..?

These days even the Athlete Special is getting flowed Nikes. Maybe brands don’t like giving someone shoes to see them sawed in half after one run.
