Parker is on Emma's podcast. It still strikes me that as hard as she trains, she is so new to runnig at a high level and she comes off as not taking it seriously. Once agan she talks about how she thought there was 800 m left at the top of the last hill because " someone told me ther was 800 left". Did she not go to the course the day before? She also said she was not prepared enough for the hills. Well, who's fault is that? Why not run a race with hills and work them (ok she did the one at the Regional).
Don't be so condescending. Saying that she wasn't prepared for the hills is a mature thing to say as opposed to blaming someone else. She admitted that SHE wasn't prepared. SHE refers to herself. In other words, she is saying that it is her fault.
actually I was taking a bit of a dig at her coach who should have been preparing a 15:20 runner to be fully ready for the championship, and the course it was on.
