Curious. I do not mean to say you need fast/competitive runners to accurately review shoes - I do not necessarily believe that is the case - but I’m curious as to why they all seem to write for one site, whereas BELIEVE in the run tends to be quite slow runners (based on Strava). RoadTrail has a guy under 2:19 (I believe British), Boston’s Ryan Eiler who just ran 2:19, and several runners under 2:30 and/or competitive age-groupers.
Are most shoe reviewers just not competitive, or do they just flock to one site?
