So for the last 15 years I've run mostly in low profile, light, flexible shoes. Lately the Nike Flex whatever, Flex Run, Flex Endurance? I dunno....not a performance based running shoe. However, I tried the Nike Flynit? I can't remember the name. Whatever the carbon plate shoe was that DID NOT have the super foam. That was back in '18 I think? That was a stiff shoe and took some time getting used to.
So my understanding of the current meta in performance running shoe design is that PEBAX based midsoles are 'the best thing ever' and when add a plate it is 'even better'.
So, any of you try hards wear a carbon plate everday?
Also, yes imma cheaterfly my way to a sub 3:00 at some point. I am heavy but still a midfoot/forefoot striker. My heels haven't touched the ground since I was two years old.
